WHAT TO DO WHEN SOMEONE IS CONVULSING/ HAVING A SEIZURE.

Image
Have you ever come across a situation where someone immediately started convulsing or having a seizure? If you have, then you can relate with hearing suggestions calling for a spoon to be brought and kept in the victims mouth. Why is that so? It was the belief that during that situation the victim might swallow his/her tongue and then choke to death. As you can see from the video above, that is not advisable. What you have to do, is to ensure that the victim has a safe environment, by shifting all objects away from them so that they don't hit them and thereby injuring themselves. You should also put a soft cloth or pillow underneath their head, to protect it from the violent shaking. The video below shows the practical way in handling such a situation.
