DANGEROUS MYTHS ABOUT CPR



I came across these series of short videos created by American Heart Association on Emergency Live, featuring survivors and rescuers who talked about the importance of CPR and dispel common myths about this lifesaving skill. Many people are afraid of doing CPR because they think they’ll hurt someone. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival. Your actions can only help. Check out these videos to learn how any injury caused by performing CPR properly is either rare or not serious.
