First aid for burns

Feels like everyone has experienced a burn of some sorts at some in life.

Could have been from moist heat or dry heat. If the kitchen is your space, then most def you would have had several burn accidents.

Depending on the depth of skin tissue affected,  the length of time the kin is exposed to the burn source, the extent or area of skin burned and the part of the body that gas been burned, burns can be described as first, second, third..... degree burn

Irrespective of the degree of the burn, the first and second step to take as first aid intervention is same

π˜Ύπ™€π™€π™‘ π™©π™π™š 𝙗π™ͺ𝙧𝙣. This is done by running cool water over the burn for about 20 minutes or until the pain has eased off

Using eggs, toothpaste, pap, salt etc does the burn no good,  in fact they can be counter productive

Cooling the burn greatly reduces scarring episodes
