Date: 12th June '21

Where & When: During the European championship match between Denmark and Finland 

About 42 minutes into the match, Christian Eriksen suddenly collapses to the ground, he wasn't hit. His heart had suddenly stopped beating  it was a cardiac arrest!

He collapsed at 5:43pm, at 5:44pm a response team made up of his team mates and doctors were by his side administering CPR and deploying an AED to resuscitate him

Today he is alive, hale and hearty, ready to hit the pitch again 

Prompt response to an episode of cardiac arrest greatly increases survival chances 

A cardiac arrest can happen to just about anyone,  anywhere and at anytime
