Today is World First Aid Day (WFAD) Annually,  the second Saturday of September is set aside as WFAD The day is about raising and spreading awareness on first aid and how it can prevent injuries and save lives in a critical situation. Safety Outdoors During The Rains  The rains are here and it comes with it's own hazards.  Some rains come with thunderstorms and lightning which can wreck havoc to lives and properties.  Lightnings have an affinity for the tallest tips of trees or other conductors around the location it strikes.  So if someone takes shelter by a tree and lightning happens to strike the  tip of the tree, the current from the lightning will travel down the tree and move on to the person and could most likely be fatal.
