How to safely remove foreign objects in the body

FIRST AID & TREATMENT FOR FOREIGN OBJECTS IN THE BODY

Every time a foreign object is in the body,  the plan is to safely remove the foreign object without causing further harm.

The ease or difficulty in removing the foreign object will determine whether or not if professional medical help is needed.

The location of the foreign object is a great determinant of the ease or difficulty of removal.

If the foreign object is very visible and easy to pull out, it should be done carefully.

If the object is a tricky bit to remove,  it is important to seek medical help than to push the object further.

Sometimes a foreign object in the body can be gotten rid of by stooling.

If the object is in the nose or ear, a suction machine is used to remove the object in a hospital.

If the object is stuck in the airways, an bronchoscope is used in a hospital.

If the foreign object is in the rectum, vagina or stomach  an endoscope is used to remove the foreign object in a  hospital.

Magnets are used to remove magnetic foreign objects in a hospital.

At times surgery is the only option left to remove a trapped foreign object in the body.

Remember not to cause further harm when extracting a foreign object in the body, best to seek professional help.
