HOW TO PREVENT FOREIGN OBJECTS FROM GETTING INTO THE NOSE

Kids are the mostly the casualties of the occurrence of "Foreign Objects in the Nose".

The good thing is that this can be prevented. Here are a few pointers in this prevention:

- Discourage kids from sticking/stuffing/putting objects in their noses or in the noses of others. Help them understand that it's a dangerous practice 

- Keep small objects (small toys or parts, coins, pebbles,  marbles, button batteries, beads, buttons, nails etc.) out of the reach of kids

- Give kids toys that appropriate for their age

- Ensure that kids are supervised always
