CATS & DOGS

We have people and families who love and keep pets.

Pets are kept for a variety of reasons, sometimes for companionship (especially kids and the elderly), security, for status, the list goes on.

Some people love to keep exotic pets e.g. wild cats (lions, tigers...), snakes,  primates. Others are less adventurous and keep domesticated animals e.g. birds, cats, dogs and a host of other animals.

The most commonly kept pets are cats and dogs.

Irrespective of what animal is kept as a pet, the act of raising a pet comes with responsbilities and certain risks. The risks are raised extremely when wild animals are kept as pets. However,  even domesticated animals have their risks as well, chief of which is "bites".

Cats and dogs are the most common animals used as pets.

Responsibilities of having pets includes, training them, ensuring their health is taken care of, making sure vaccinations are up to date, providing the right and conducive shelter, feeding them and keeping them clean.
