World Sight Day 2020

WORLD SIGHT DAY (WSD) 2020

Did you know today is World sight day?
Have you gotten an assessment on your eye health from the ophthalmologist, optometrist or optician?

World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness held on the second Thursday of October, this year, it falls on the 8th of October.  The plan is to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment.

This year the theme: Hope In Sight.

And oh yes there is hope in sight, a lot of advances has been made through science and technology and hope for saving sight is getting better and better for even conditions that previously were without solutions.

We all should endeavor to have routine checks on our eyes, they are windows we don't want to lose.

If we have family history of sight and eye issues, then we should take eyes and sight issues even more seriously.

Hook up with an ophthalmologist, optometrist and optician and get those eyes checked.

Happy World Sight Day

Hope in sight
