HOW TO PREVENT A NOSEBLEED

No doubt prevention is better than a cure๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘

Thing is this, some people are more prone to having a nosebleed than others

Here are a few ways to stopping that nosebleed from happening

1) Ensure your nostrils are moist, like we now know, a dry nose is really prone to nosebleeds. This can be achieved by applying petroleum jelly in the nostrils, as often as needed. Other options to help ensure the linings of the nose is moist is the use nasal sprays or nasal gels

2) If you live in an environment that the air is really dry or the season is really dry, you can use a humidifier in your home

3) Do not  pick or prod your nose. Also long and sharp nails are a no-no, as they easily rupture the delicate blood vessels inside the nose

4) Do not smoke as it cause your nostrils to become dry

5) If you play sports that involves contact with other players andcyou are prone to nosebleeds, wear a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) e.g. a helmet

We hope these tips help reduce your episodes of nosebleeds, especially if you are prone to them
