CARBON MONOXIDE (CO) POISONING:UNFORTUNATE CASES 

Sometimes people expose themselves accidentally to poisons out of sheer ignorance. 

Unfortunately the loss of precious lives is the result of such ignorance. 

Knowledge is power. Knowledge can save and preserve lives

Some deaths are absolutely avoidable and it's sooooo painful to hear or witness the loss of a life especially when it's completely avoidable 

There have been quite a number of deaths in Nigeria from CO poisoning, sadly almost all of them are due to ignorance. This ignorance has been displayed by both the schooled and the unschooled 

Thankfully being first aid learned isn't just for the educated, any and everybody can and should be first aid learned

It would help if we help pass on to others vital info on the dangers of CO poisoning 

It is important to note that CO is odorless, colorless and tasteless. So it mostly comes unnoticed, hence is a stalking silent killeršŸ˜”

GIRL RESUSCITATES HER BROTHER BY PERFORMING CPR (VIDEO)

Source: Linda Ikeji's Blog Finally, I found the video of the girl who was videoed performing CPR (Obviously this was her first time performing CPR) on her brother who had collapsed. With her mom and possibly her mom’s friend guiding her on what to do over the phone on CPR procedure. This must have been one of the most terrifying and stressful assignment for her to perform. However,it was a life and death issue. Words cannot describe how she felt doing it or was able to perform this, but she did and saved the day,an avoidable death was prevented. #AFABulouSSister! She performed the hands only procedure, although she did not exactly get it done as recommended, but the outcome was good. Check CPR procedures on my blog. Be equipped with the skill and the kit!
