Helpful tips on how to prevent sleep apnea

Preventing sleep apnea is super important as it has dreadful consequences 

👉hypertension
👉heart conditions (heart attack, heart failure) 
👉diabetes
👉stroke
👉fatigue (which makes one prone to accidents)

Here are some tips to prevent it if you experience it or at risk of it👇

- if you are overweight lose some weight 
- quit smoking 
- reduce alcohol consumption, don't drink just before going to bed 
- don't take sedatives unless prescribed 
-  don't sleep on your back, instead sleep on your side

Remember that snoring might just be an indication that you suffer sleep apnea, have it checked out.
