Undigested foods in the GIT? Here's what happens
FALLOUTS OF HAVING FOOD STAY IN THE GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT (GIT) LONGER THAN NORMAL
So as long as you eat, you must do number two (poo).
Your frequency of eating should be directly proportional to how often you do number two. So it means we MUST do number two daily, as long as we eat daily.
If you don't have frequent bowel movements then you are prone to having GIT issues.
When food gets into the GIT, enzymes help to break it down so it can digested. Undigested foods are a PROBLEM!😭
Here's what happens to foods that stay longer than neccessary in the GIT:
- they get ROTTEN in the GIT🤮
- they get FERMENTED in the GIT🤮
- they get RANCID in the GIT🤮
- they get PUTREFIED in the GIT 🤮
All the above mentioned terms can be used interchangeably, but we are trying to paint a picture in your minds so you can connect with what we talking about.
Bottom line is undigested foods have no business chilling in your GIT, you can replace "chilling" with any of those terms🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️
The fallout of the above causes some digestive ailments and discomfort. Here are some of them:
- tummy ache
- heartburn
- excessive burping
- constipation
- falling asleep after a meal
- discomfort
- really foul smelling fart
- diarrhoea
- bloating
- weight gain (especially around the tummy)
None of the above makes you feel good.
Ensure you have good bowel movements everyday you eat.
